Hi-Jack warning. Orange Grove / Waverly area, JHB. Watch out for an 90s BMW
three series, metallic green. Three armed slim built black gentlemen. They are known
to have hijacked at least two vehicles recently. They follow you and
sometimes 'mark' the vehicle with litter on the driveway. Thanks Nicola.

Bridge just before onramp to the N3 Highway. In the mornings,
traffic is bumper to bumper. Criminals walk between the cars, smash-and-grab & and then run
down the embankment under the highway. Thanks Borg.

I was a victim of a smash and grab on the Beyers Naude offramp.
There are two scruffy looking men who pose as beggars. One will
distract you while the other will scrutinise your car and if
anything of value is visible, one of them will smash the window
and take whatever is there and then run down the embankment.
It is quite dark so please be aware of that intersection. Thanks Ines.

At the traffic light on Kyalami Drive (about half a kilometer from
Woodmead Offramp Under the bridge)left is Eskom Megawatt and on the
right is VodaWorld (Golf range). Apparently this is a very "hot" spot for these smashes.

SMASH AND GRAB! Corner of 17th St and Krause St in Pageview
is the latest area being targeted, on thurs 1/12/05 about 17h30
there was a smash and grab at that intersection, and hijackings
in the Mayfair area. Three in the last two weeks which i know
of. So beware. Thanks
